Maitland Yoga Studio is the gold standard of yoga studios in the Hunter Valley. We are passionate about sharing all aspects of yoga in a safe and non competitive environment. Our teachers are well trained and teach from personal experience.
We offer a variety of yoga styles, drop in classes and beginner yoga courses which cater for all ages and abilities.
Online classes are also available if our timetabled classes don't fit in with your schedule.

Types of Yoga
Below is a brief explanation of the styles of yoga we offer at Maitland Yoga Studio.
Japanese Yoga
This style of yoga uses postures, exercises and stretches to access and open the 12 energy meridians which flow around your body. This improves the function of your organs, which improves your energy and health.
Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa Yoga uses flowing sequences of postures which can increase your cardio fitness, strength, balance and energy. It can be quite challenging, however with practice can be become really change your body and mind.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a stretching class with each posture being held for 3 to 5 minutes. This helps to access your Fascia tissue which will over time increase your flexibility and mobility. It’s also a very meditative practice and suitable for people with injuries and mobility issues.
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga is for everyone and is one of the most transformative yoga practices today. It is based on a set of exercises that is designed specifically to target certain areas of your body in order to strengthen them and help them release toxins.
